When the Air Jordan 3 "Tinker" was revealed to the world last year, sneakerheads were torn. While the sneaker pays homage to the original sketch by Tinker Hatfield, many believed that a Nike swoosh simply didn't belong on the Jordan 3. The only Jordan Brand sneaker to don the swoosh was the Jordan 1 and since then, the shoes have been swooshless. Regardless, the shoe sold out and people came around to the design. Jordan Brand is now bringing back the Tinker Jordan 3, but this time it will come in University Red and sport some customizable aspects.
The majority of the upper is covered in white, while red is found wrapped around the shoe just above the midsole. Red highlights are also present around the laces and the inside of the sneaker. While the colorway is cool, the real attraction for this shoe is the fact that you can replace the Nike swoosh. These kicks will come with a white swoosh on the side but in the box, there will be an elephant print swoosh, as well as grey and red swooshes. It looks as though the swooshes are attached by velcro.
