Pharrell is called "Hitmaker of the Year" by GQ.

As we already saw, GQ magazine dubbed Kendrick Lamar "Rapper of the Year" in their new "Man of the Year" issue. Along with Kendrick (and Justin Timberlake), Pharrell earned a title too, "Hitmaker of the Year."

Pharrel spoke briefly on two of his biggest hits this year, Robin Thicke's "Blurred Lines" and Daft Punk's "Get Lucky."

“Both songs are for people who need a break,” said Pharrell on the records. “There’s a lot of fucked-up travesty in the world. Sometimes you just need a Hallmark card. Sometimes you just need to shake your ass.”

Peep his photo shoot with GQ for the issue in the gallery above. Do you think Pharrell is the Hitmaker of the 2013, or who would you give the title too?
