We already know that Travis Scott, Maroon 5 and Big Boi will be taking the stage during Super Bowl LIII's halftime show on February 3rd and now Entertainment Tonight is reporting that Travis will be doing another performance for the NFL.
The "Butterfly Effect" rapper is set to headline Pepsi's invite-only Super Bowl weekend party at Planet Pepsi in Atlanta on Friday, February 1st. Atlanta based fans have a chance to score tickets to the exclusive event by taking selfies in front of murals by artists Melissa Mitchell, Janice Rago, Eric Nine and Bigteeff that have been placed around the city.
We previously posted on Nick Cannon's comments about Travis, saying he isn't a good representative for the culture since he's taking part in the Superbowl and his relationship with Kylie Jenner.
"I'm team Kaepernick all day," Nick said. "I call it cultural equity. We not mad at Big Boi... he's for the people. But someone like a Travis Scott, he gotta walk more gingerly. It's more about truly having integrity. To who you are in your music, and your art form. The people you choose to interact with. The people you choose to procreate with... That decision wasn't for the culture."
What do you guys think?
