There are tons of rappers who've compared themselves to Tupac over the years. Boosie called one of his projects BooPac, Troy Ave called himself the NewPac, and plenty of others have likened themselves to the legendary emcee. T.I.'s the latest rapper to compare himself to Tupac, most recently calling himself the only other artist to maintain the same level of consistency as the late rapper.
T.I. hopped on Instagram with an extremely hot take. Tip suggested that he's the only rapper since Tupac who has been consistently diverse in multiple fields including hip-hop.
"Any way you slice it... I'm the very best at what I do... impossible to duplicate," he wrote. "When you get done buuuulshittin’... Riddle me this.... Who since 2Pac has maintained as much consistent diversity within music genres, businesses & other opportunities?" He continued. "I’ll wait..."
A fan later chimed in, commenting "Jay-Z" which a shrugging emotion. Tip responded, “Respectfully to da goat...what major feature film he [starred] in?”
T.I. has always shown love to Tupac throughout his career, even featuring alongside Ashanti on the posthumous record, "Pac's Life" of off the album of the same name. Tip also paid tribute to Tupac at the Rock & Rock Hall Of Fame and rocked a signature Pac look to the event, down to the black bandana tied to the front. However, that particular ensemble wasn't as well-received as he would have hoped for.
