Xbox gamers now have an opportunity to mention their "phantom" at any occasion.

Microsoft's Xbox One has recently unveiled something destined to please the aesthetically-inclined: the Phantom White Special Edition controller. The controller itself, which you can check out via Twitter below, is certainly appealing to the eye, boasting a slick, futuristic design. The slight transparent casing enhances the vibe, giving gamers a thorough peek at their controller's inner workings.

The launch follows a previous model in black (with a white bottom), equally transparent. The addition of a white variant suggests a willingness to continue the "series," prompting speculation of a variety of colorways. Could you imagine an "Atomic Purple" one, evocative of the iconic Game Boy Color? Obviously, Nintendo and Xbox are different companies, but a true gamer has dabbled in both.

What do you think about the "Phantom White" Xbox controller? In the meantime, check out some closer looks at the sleek design, which officially drops on April 2nd. Should you be interested in copping one, so you too can go ghost in the phantom, it'll set you back a respectable $69.99.
