According to The Daily Mail, Azealia Banks got into a heated confrontation with Aer Lingus staff on her way to Dublin before airing the company out on her Instagram story. Banks was just about to board the flight in Gatwick, but tension rose between the rapper and the stewardess before takeoff.

"[Banks] was right at the front. A male friend was putting her things in the overhead locker, but Azealia needed to get something from her bag. She was stood in the aisle and preventing other passengers from boarding," a witness said. "Then she turned to the hostess and said, ‘Are you staring at me? Why are you staring at me? I didn’t fill out an Air Lingus form to be stared at.’ The hostess was being quite confrontational. She said to her, ‘I need to know if you are going to cause more trouble on this flight?'"

Banks and her team reportedly left the flight after the confrontation before she recounted the incident for her Instagram followers. "I don't know what's going to happen to this Dublin show. It's like every time I come to the U.K., there's always some shit with the airline people," she said.

"They just crowd around me and start chastising me like I'm some kind of animal, you know," she continued. "So I get off the plane, 'Cause I'm like, shit. I've worked too hard in my life to be cornered by some fucking ugly Irish bitch. There's like these fuckin' ugly Irish women here."
