Tune in to our weekly mix of the biggest rap and R&B tracks.

We took a few liberties along the way in the final iteration of the FIRE EMOJI playlist in 2018, by tracking back on a few notable runner-ups from past weeks. Consider this edition right here, a circular fire pit for all your final séances. RoddyRicch in particular, waited 'til the final trimester of 2018 to unleash his potential, best demonstrated on a collabo with Marshmello titled "Project Dreams," which debuted at the beginning of the month. It only helps that his "cousins" in the industry are of the same opinion concerning his brimming prospects in 2019 - his inclusion on Meek's Championships LP a clear example.

The next artist deserving on their spot on this week's FIRE EMOJI list allowed his production rate to slow down, only to resurface with a renewed sense of purpose. The-Dream's 40-song triple-header is being described as an all-out marathon event, by general hip-hop fans more accustomed to EP teasers and short-order releases. But songs like "I Like" demonstrate the singularity which has allowed The-Dream to persist over time as the "Radio Killer."

Also on our radar this week is Post Malone with the "Wow." loosie he dropped as a lightly animated video. "Wow." is just the figure change Post Malone needs going forward if he is to diversify his musical portfolio. Post Malone shows us he can be slightly more agitated when the moment calls for it, on a deeply-marauding beat no less. Otherwise, it was A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie who blessed the FIRE EMOJI playlist with the greatest quantity of songs, with "Skeezers" and "No Features" both making the cut.
