While Atmos is primarily known for its collaborations with Nike, the Tokyo-based brand has no problem collaborating with other big shoe companies like Adidas. The brand with three stripes is teaming up with Atmos this weekend for a brand new colorway of the Adidas Yung-1. The entire campaign surrounding this shoe is based around the aesthetics of a Barbershop.
The swirly sign outside of a barbershop is blue, red, and white which is the exact colors that can be found on this shoe. There is white mesh on the upper which is surrounded by silver and grey leather and suede overlays. The silver aesthetic is meant to be modeled after the metal chairs you can find in a barbershop. Meanwhile, blue and red make its way onto the three stripes as well as the outsole and the inside of the sneaker.
As for the Yung-1 itself, the shoe takes on the dad shoe aesthetic that became so popular in 2018. With a chunky midsole and wavy tooling on the upper, these are perfect if you're looking for a comfy shoe that embraces your inner middle-aged man.
According to Sneaker News, these will be dropping on Saturday, March 16 for $130 USD. If you're looking to cop, you'll be able to find them online and Atmos locations.
