If you're dealing with anything that is Notorious B.I.G. or Tupac-related, there's a fine line to walk when it comes to paying homage/being disrespectful. We saw both sides this past year: when DJ Khaled released his Suffering From Success single "I Feel Like Pac/I Feel Like Biggie", there was a ton of backlash (despite featuring a slew of big rappers including Diddy); more recently, Rick Ross dropped "Nobody", which features an almost identical instrumental as Biggie's original "You're Nobody (Til Somebody Kills You), and happened to be quite well-received, perhaps because it was Diddy on the boards.
Either way, this latest remake may make you SMH. As Complex reports, Iggy Azalea and Keyshia Cole are working on a remake of Biggie's classic "Mo' Money, Mo' Problems", headed by Irv Gotti.
The song is apparently being made for the soundtrack to the romantic comedy "The Other Woman", which stars Cameron Diaz, Nicki Minaj and Kate Upton. We're not sure why a romantic comedy needs a Biggie remake, but, apparently it does?
