At times this season, Golden State Warriors star Klay Thompson has been questioned for some poor shooting and going through a slump earlier in the season. Despite this, Thompson has been going off as of late, and on Monday night against the Los Angeles Lakers, Thompson tied an NBA record as he made 10 straight three-pointers.

"It just happened to be one of those nights," Thompson said according to ESPN. "It was the best percentage I ever shot. But it just happened to be one of those nights, man. It's hard to explain."

Thompson had 44 points in total en route to 130-111 victory over a Lakers squad that has injuries to LeBron James, Rajon Rondo, and most recently Lonzo Ball.

DeMarcus Cousins, who just recently made his return after a lengthy injury, commented on Klay's record-setting night.

"That's Klay," Cousins explained. "I think we're all used to it now. It was 10 straight? S---. That's impressive. Man, it's like a new record every day, ain't it?"

With the win, the Warriors continued to show why they are one of the best teams in basketball. The team now sits at a record of 33-14 and are first place in the Western Conference.
