Singer R. Kelly is in the thick of a legal battle at the moment to determine his complicity in a series of sexual abuse allegations. Since the release of the shocking documentary Surviving R. Kelly, the musician has garnered a series of civil lawsuits and ten counts of aggravated criminal sexual abuse within the state of Illinois. Most recently, the artist arrived in court to probe a sex tape's validity and authenticity. The latter differs from the civil lawsuit R Kelly lost by forfeit for not showing up in court last month. Nevertheless, as the artist busies himself with that, new TMZ reports indicate a jury is preparing to review the details of the sex trafficking claims set against Kelly.

According to the aforementioned news outlet, Northern District of Illinois federal prosecutors will set in motion the gathering of a jury over the specificities. Herein, witness testimony is scheduled to be offered to further detail R. Kelly's previous purchases of plane tickets and hotel rooms for underaged girls. The prosecutors further allege that emails, text messages and physical evidence proving the latter are to be reviewed by the jury. Hence, more legal trouble may be underway for the disgraced artist.
