Ariana Grande came through with sad news for her fans earlier today when it was announced that her upcoming show at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas was cancelled. The "No Tears Left To Cry" singer had to bail due to "some health issues."
"Due to unforeseeable health reasons, Ariana Grande has cancelled her show at The Chelsea at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas on Saturday, Dec. 29. Guests are able to receive a full refund on tickets through their specified point of purchase," the official statement read.
Ariana has now followed up with her fans on her own, by sharing a note to her Instagram story. "Vegas, I'm currently working through some health issues and am beyond sorry I won't be able to see u this weekend," she wrote. "I love u and so look forward to seeing u and making it up to u next year." A re-scheduled date has yet to be announced.
In other Ariana news, it seems as though the holidays brought her a little closer to her estranged father who she FaceTimed over Christmas. Ariana has only talked about her dad once before, detailing how she's a lot like him.
"It's private, but it happened last year," she said of a falling out. It took me so long to be okay with it. The thing that got me there was embracing the fact that that I am made up of half my dad, and a lot of my traits come from him. So much of me comes from my father, and for so long, I didn't like that about myself. I had to accept that it's okay not to get along with somebody and still love them."
