Rumors of Lil Boosie's release have been circulating over the past couple of months, but a new report seems to be a little more concrete. Ashley Kalmanowitz, a rep for Atlantic Records has announced that Boosie will attend a press conference on March 10th.
Kalmanowitz did not provide a release date for the rapper, but insisted that it would be in time for the conference. "He will absolutely be there," she said. "He'll be speaking to the press for the first time ... after his release."
The rep was also tight-lipped about Boosie's current label situation, but stressed that all information would be available come March 10th. "(Lil Boosie) is actually going to be clearing all that stuff up for everybody there, so I'm going to let him relay that information," she explained.
The Louisiana Department of Correction's automated Offender Locator system apparently still lists the rapper's release date as May 20th, but it's possible that a change has been made, as the system takes a good 24 hours to display any changes.

[Update: Boosie Released From Prison]
It turns out that the Atlantic rep was right. Lil Boosie is finally a free man!
According to Louisiana's WAFB Channel 9, Lil Boosie was released from Angola State Penitentiary on Wednesday night at 7:10 p.m. EST. Warden Burl Cain confirmed the rapper, whose real name is Torrence Hatch, was released and later transferred to a sheriff’s department facility in St. Francisville where family members and friends waited for him.
Although found not-guilty in a 2012 murder charge, Boosie remained locked up since 2009, for a third-offense marijuana possession charge, as well as violation of probation.
As stated above, Boosie will address the media at a news conference in New Orleans on Monday. Be sure to check back for that.
