Ariana Grande has gone through a lot this year. From the passing of her ex-boyfriend Mac Miller to a failed engagement with Pete Davidson, there have been many obstacles for the pop star to step over on her way to happiness. She appears to be back on the right track with the release of "thank u, next" but it wouldn't be a proper end to 2018 if nothing negative happened in her life, right? At this point, it only makes sense that she's had to cancel her upcoming New Year's Eve performance because of an ongoing illness.
TMZ is reporting that Ariana will no longer be headlining the New Year's Eve festivities in Las Vegas' Cosmopolitan hotel tomorrow. She was forced to drop the date after a continued bout with bronchitis, says the publication. The last-minute cancellation will prove difficult to find a replacement for but we're sure the promoters of the event have something in mind.
Grande reportedly has plans to reschedule at a later date. Obviously though, she would like to hit the stage in Vegas before NYE 2019. This is just the latest struggle Ari has gone through this year, which has surely proven to be one of the worst in her entire existence.
