Barack Obama shares his favorite books, songs, and movies from the last year.

With 2018 coming to a close, we've looked back at all of the amazing moments we've witnessed in hip-hop this year. From the most creative music videos to our favorite songs of the entire year, we've covered all the bases. We're not the only people reminiscing on all of the fun we had in 2018 though. Barack Obama decided to do the same thing, listing off some of his favorite creative achievements from the last year.

The Forever President shared his lists of the best movies, books, and songs to have been released in 2018 and while some picks are obvious, others are more surprising. To know that Obama listened to your song and considered it among the best of the year is quite the accomplishment and we're sure there will be a lot of celebrating tonight for the following artists.

Among Barack's top songs, he included tracks by The Carters, J. Cole, Khalid and Normani, H.E.R, Jay Rock, Chance the Rapper, Cardi B and more. When it comes to his favorite movies from the year, Black Panther, Roma, BlacKkKlansman, Annihilation, and more made the list. Of course, his favorite book of the year belongs to his wife, Michelle Obama. Shocker.

Check out the full lists below and let us know where you think he got it right.
