Adidas has been at the forefront of the dad shoe trend ever since they dropped the Yeezy Boost 700 "Wave Runner" back in 2017. It was this shoe that made chunky runners cool again and other sneaker companies have taken notice. You can't go to any sneaker store these days without seeing a shoe with a large chunky midsole. It's a trend that has lasted a year and a half at this point and is showing absolutely no signs of slowing down.
Since they helped start the trend, the brand has developed even more chunky silhouettes and the latest iteration of the Adidas Ozweego is one of them. The model hasn't formally been released yet but will be rolled out throughout the summer, according to Sneaker News. A triple-black colorway has been teased so far and now, a "Neon Green" model has been revealed.
As the name suggests, the upper is made with neon green material, as a black tongue and black highlights make their way around the shoe. The three stripes are black and bordered with burgundy and white material. Meanwhile, the midsole is a more muted shade of green, with black rounding out the outsole.
Stay tuned for release information on these shoes.
