Yet for Ski Mask The Slump God, it's likely that he'll carry the weight of his loss long before and long after. Today, Ski took to Instagram to share a moment of reflection, posted up beneath a mural of XXX's likeness. While sparing in his caption, Ski Mask's words remain poignant all the same: "You Will Live Forever."
Given the movement of support that arose following Triple X's murder, by way of fan unification and outpouring creative expression, it's probable that his legacy will continue to be celebrated for years to come. It wouldn't be surprising to see Ski Mask continue to pay homage to his friend as the date looms closer, and we can only hope he remains strong in his resolve. Losing a close friend is an unbearable thing to fathom, and Ski's strength in coping has proven admirable to say the least.
