Kyrie Irving's time in Boston is most likely coming to a close, or at least that's what the rumor mill would like you to believe. It's well documented that Kyrie has been vocal against his Celtics teammates this season, at times making claims that they don't have the pedigree to go out and win a championship. While some people believe Kyrie will want to go to the Knicks in free agency, some believe that the Los Angeles Lakers are a possibility.
On ESPN's The Stephen A. Smith Show, the First Take host said the Celtics superstar might be interested in reuniting with LeBron to make a deep run in the Western Conference. Although as Smith reiterated, it's only interest right now. There are no guarantees.
"I'm told Kyrie Irving will grant the Lakers an interview this offseason. The Lakers will have an opp to get Kyrie Irving to come to LA I did not say he's coming to LA! I did not say that!" Stephen A. said. "I don't know what he's gonna do, but during his free-agent tour, I'm told he'll give the Lakers an interview."
Before deciding on where he'll play next, Kyrie has a big playoff battle to embark on as the Celtics are one of the favorites to potentially come out of the Eastern Conference. They will be playing the Indiana Pacers in the first round.
