This may sound like it's too good to be true but, in reality, this is really happening. Ben & Jerry's is upping the ante on "Free Cone Day" around the world by presenting free ice cream cones to their customers with absolutely no hidden information in the fine print. As reported by CNN, Ben & Jerry's is offering cones to anybody that steps foot into their shops today and, unlike many other companies, there is no cap on the number of times you can reenter the line.
"There are no rules for Free Cone Day," wrote the company in a news release. "You can get in line as many times as you want." Usually, people are allowed to have one free cone but at Ben & Jerry's they decided to change things up a little. Between 12 PM and 8 PM today, your local Ben & Jerry's will be giving away free cones. This offer is available at every single location in the world, including the shops in the United States and Canada.
Lines may be long but since there is no exchange of money involved, they will likely thin out quickly. The company reportedly expects to give away over one million ice cream cones today, topping their previous giveaway in 2015. Are you heading to Ben & Jerry's today?
