The last time Conor McGregor stepped in the Octagon, he got beat badly by Khabib Nurmagomedov in a spirited grudge match. Since then, McGregor has been through a plethora of controversies, none of which have really seemed to phase him. In the midst of speculation of who his next opponent would be, McGregor shocked everyone by announcing his retirement although many saw through it. McGregor has been known to try to build hype in unconventional ways and his retirement announcement was thought to be yet another trick in McGregor's bag of antics.
Now, it appears as though McGregor has forgotten about his retirement plans as he's back in his native Ireland where he is training hard to get himself in shape. McGregor has been spotted at Straight Blast Gym and according to TMZ Sports, sources close to McGregor say the fighter is "ready to fight right now." In the footage below, McGregor can be seen sparring with Hans Molenkamp. Molenkamp is the man behind MMA equipment company, Triumph United.
After his win against Al Iaquinta, Donald "Cowboy" Cerrone called out McGregor urging for a fight. The two have been teasing a match for a while now although it seems like McGregor keeps ducking him.
