Rome Fortune just delivered his collaborative project with rising Atlanta producer Dun Deal (responsible for Young Thug's "Stoner", Migos' "Hannah Montana" and more), the Drive, Thighs & Lies EP.
The rapper and producer previously worked together on Rome's breakthrough mixtape, Beautiful Pimp, and have only further solidified their creative chemistry on this new project.
"Payin For It" is one of the tape's hardest tracks, but it wouldn't be a proper Rome and Dun collab if it didn't also have some ambient instrumentation incorporated into it as well.
Swaying between a shuddering (but still very musical) bassline, and some of Dun's signature clean guitar work, the song is one of the early highlights on the new tape.
Charismatic features from Junglepussy and Relly Jade also compliment Rome's spacey free-form flows quite nicely.
If you're looking for more from Rome, make sure to check out his recent mixtape, Beautiful Pimp II.
Quotable Lyrics:
Facade of a bad broad
I know it
As long as when the lights low
Uh, you throw it
Got a name for your type
Won't say it
Turntables between your thighs
I DJ it
