Young Scooter was released from prison this past Wednesday, after serving just over six months on a probation violation. Following his release, he's getting right back into the music, having announced a release date for his second installment of Street Lottery.
Talking to XXL, Scooter revealed that Street Lottery 2 will drop in the New Year, on January 1st 2014. You can expect the first single off the project, which features Cam'ron, to drop next week.
Young Scooter said of the upcoming mixtape, “It’s really almost finished. I just want to have it like the first Street Lottery—it was a classic. So every time I do it, it got to be a classic, so I don’t want to make no mistakes or move too fast with it.”
”I just want to bring the New Year in with something I want and what I feel that the world needs to hear, and I know that this is going to be big,” Scooter explained. “I want to teach people to get money. All I rap about is money, and if you want some money, you listen to me, then you understand.”
The tape is also set to feature appearances from Wyclef Jean, Birdman, Future, Gucci Mane and more.
