Tiffany, you down sis?

Kevin Hart stepped down from hosting the Oscars a few weeks back after his past homophobic tweets resurfaced. "Guys, I'm almost 40 years old. If you don't believe that people change, grow, evolve as they get older... I don't know what to tell you," he said in response to his past statement. Since then the annual show still has no host, to the point where the academy is considering not even having one.

Page Six caught up with Get Out actress, Betty Gabriel who suggested a household name for the role. “I’d love to see a woman host the Oscars,” she told the publication. “Often times I don’t watch the Oscars because I say this isn’t for me. But if you get a host that really relates everything to you and bridges that gap and makes you care about the really phenomenal stories. No matter who they have in them.”

As for her go-to choice: “Yeah, I’d love to see a beautiful woman, who’s also funny, hmm. Is it too soon for Tiffany Haddish? I don’t think so. It’s really great art. And hopefully, the more we go down this path, the more it’ll include all of us.”

Not too long ago Whoopi Goldberg volunteered to lead the show, but it seems as there's been no follow-up on the offer.  “I realize I may not be anybody’s first choice," she said. "Half of the country is sometimes really mad at me, the other half is okay, until tomorrow and they’re pissed.”
