Chicago's Jeremiah Jae isn't your common garden-variety rapper, as he showed on his extremely blunted mixtape Good Times, released earlier this week. The Flying Lotus-associated MC has a love for dusty, old-school samples the likes of which show up on "Get Mine," a highlight from the tape.
With a distorted guitar riff that recalls Kanye West's "Gorgeous," "Get Mine" is a slow-burner that allows Jae and FABLE to spit methodical verses. With street-hardened lyrics and an unorthodox beat, this offers a great encapsulation of Jeremiah Jae's intriguing style.
