UFC star Conor McGregor was back in Jail on Monday night/early Tuesday morning, after he reportedly destroyed the cellphone of a fan who tried to take a picture outside of the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel.

McGregor was charged with one count of strong-arm robbery and one count criminal mischief of $1,000 or more. He was released shortly after being booked, after posting the $12,500 bond.

The former two-division champion took to instagram shortly after being bonded out of jail with a quick message to his fans: "Patience in this world is a virtue I continue to work on. I love my fans dearly. Thank you all ❤️"

McGregor also posted a photo of a Miami Beach police cruiser on his IG story upon being released.

Per CNN:

"The fan and McGregor were leaving the Fontainebleau Miami Beach hotel Monday morning when the fan tried to take a picture with the fighter with a cell phone, according to a police report. McGregor then slapped the phone out of the fan's hand and stomped on the phone several times."

Worth noting, McGregor has already completed his community service in New York stemming from the dolly-throwing incident at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, so this most recent arrest in Miami won't affect his plead deal in NYC.

McGregor is still suspended from UFC due to the post-fight brawl at UFC 229, but he is eligible to return to the octagon starting April 6.
