Jiddy J.I.D will arrive on Cyber Monday.

J.I.D. may be one of the most lyrically adept up-and-coming artists in the game. The Dreamville signee dropped his debut studio album The Never Story in early 2017, and the project garnered him rave reviews. J.I.D. spent several months in 2018 teasing his follow up project, entitled DiCaprio 2. The "151 Rum" rapper stated in an interview with Inverse back in 2015 that Leonardo DiCaprio happens to be his favorite actor, inspiring him to name his EP after him at the time. "He always has a certain passion about [his movies]," stated J.I.D. "That’s the same passion I feel like I have about my music." The DiCaprio inspiration will continue for J.I.D.'s second album.

After several delays, J.I.D. is ready to drop DiCaprio 2. Halloween is J.I.D.'s birthday, and as a present to his fans, he took to Twitter to announce the release date for the project. "DiCaprio 2 - November 26 - My birthday gift to y’all for being patient," he wrote. The announcement was accompanied by a picture of Leonardo DiCaprio lookalike Konrad Annerud, looking dapper in a leather jacket. November 26 also happens to be Cyber Monday, which means shoppers can enjoy purchasing items they hardly need while bumping the new album.
