For days, Black Mirror fans have been speculating on whether Bandersnatch was a real thing. After some information was leaked regarding the cast and a tentative plot, it seemed like the Black Mirror movie was actually on its way. Charlie Brooker, the creator of the anthology series, had steered us away from believing that a film was in production but alas, Bandersnatch has been completed and we'll be able to watch it tomorrow!
The first photo from the upcoming movie surfaced last week and now, Netflix has released an official trailer to hype us all up. It was rumored that Bandersnatch would see the light of day on December 28 and, thankfully, that is actually the case. The official Twitter page for the television series simply let us all know to "relax" shortly before they dropped the trailer, which you may view above.
Alongside the trailer, a short synopsis was provided, which reads: "In 1984, a young programmer begins to question reality as he adapts a sprawling fantasy novel into a video game and soon faces a mind-mangling challenge. Welcome back."
Black Mirror: Bandersnatch will be the first film in the anthology series and it is set to release tomorrow. Are you excited?
