According to TMZ, Drake has reached a settlement with the woman who accused him of not acknowledging the allegedly consummated together. The woman in question, Layla Lace broached the subject back in 2017, in a defamatory Instagram post in which she stated, "So I guess still in this era this is the new thing that after you tell a dude you pregnant they stop answering they phone!!!" Let's just say it didn't take long for her proclamation to reach the masses, starting with her thousands of followers. Lace described their encounter as a one-night stand that occurred while he was visiting on tour.
Then in September, Drake filed a lawsuit, claiming Layla was out to extort his hard-earned money, and to make matters worse, she wouldn't consent to a paternity test, a decision which ultimately swung public opinion completely in his favor. TMZ is reporting that Drake and Layla have finally put their legal dispute to rest, with attorney Larry Stein communicating his satisfaction with the outcome, in a private conversation with the celebrity news outlet.
"Drake and his team are satisfied with this outcome and while Drake appreciates the support he has received, he asks that his fans and the media allow both parties to move on with their lives," Stein stated, after to grips with his client's out-of-court settlement. It's worth noting that Layla Lace's accusations were proven false, well before the World ever learned about lil Adonis.
