Oladipo goes from "day-to-day" to "out indefinitely."

The Indiana Pacers have announced that All-Star shooting guard Victor Oladipo will be out indefinitely as he deals with a nagging right knee injury. Oladipo, 26, has been out of the lineup since November 17 but up until today his status has been listed as day-to-day.

The Pacers are 3-3 in the six games without Oladipo, including Thursday night's 104-96 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers at Staples Center. The team will wrap up their four-game road trip on Saturday night in Sacramento.

"I got to be at a 100 percent with the way I play, as hard as I play on both ends," Oladipo said, according to the IndyStar. "I got to be 100 percent in order to play at that level. I've got to make sure I'm good."

In his second season with the Pacers, Oladipo is averaging 21.4 points, 6.6 rebounds and 4.7 assists per game. Indiana is currently sitting at 13-9, the fifth best record in the Eastern Conference.

While the Pacers will surely miss Oladipo out on the floor, his absence will also give guys like Domantas Sabonis, Bojan Bogdanovic, Myles Turner and others a chance to shine. Thus far, Oladipo has liked what he's seen from his teammates.

"It's been great to see them play at a high level. They're capable of it," he said, according to the IndyStar. "The success we had last year, it wasn't just me. Those guys played. We played at a high level. It's no surprise with how they're doing without me. Maybe for everybody else."

The Pacers will wrap up their road trip Saturday in Sacramento against the 10-11 Kings.
