The allegations are not new.

The sentencing of Morgan Freeman's granddaughter's killer ended with more drama than anyone could have imagined. Page Six reports that as the mother of the killer was escorted out of the court, she yelled at a reporter: "Morgan Freeman molested her and he caused this. He did this."

The defendant, Lamar Davenport, was sentenced to 20 years, a sentence that his legal team considers a success, considering they brought the charge down to manslaughter, even though he was seen stabbing Freeman's step-granddaughter, E’Dena Hines, 25 times in broad daylight in the middle of Manhattan (they claimed was off his head on PCP).

The allegations against Freeman are not new. They've been around since 2009 and both Hines and Freeman have denied them: "the recent reports of any pending marriage or romantic relationship of me to anyone are defamatory fabrications from the tabloid media designed to sell papers," said Freeman in 2012. The rumours have resurfaced now because the lawyers of Hines' killer brought them into the case.

Aside from these allegations, Freeman has also been facing a number of allegations of sexual harassment, a charge hard to imagine when you think of March of the Penguins, but hard to deny when you hear all the evidence. Freeman responded to the allegations with a statement: "anyone who knows me or has worked with me knows I am not someone who would intentionally offend or knowingly make anyone feel uneasy. I apologize to anyone who felt uncomfortable or disrespected — that was never my intent."
