Macklemore and Ryan Lewis' Grammy wins (or moreso Kendrick Lamar's losses) may have incited quite a backlash from the hip hop community, but overall it looks as if the duo has profited from them. "Same Love", the song in which they performed alongside the wedding of 33 couples of all different ethnicities and sexualities, has experienced a 350% increase in sales the week following the Grammys.
The track moved 51,000 units--a huge jump from the 11,000 the previous week--which adds to the already 2.4 million digital sales the song has acquired since its release.
