Big Sean has been romantically attached to some pretty big names in the past. Actress Naya Rivera, crooner Jhené Aiko and pop superstar Ariana Grande are some of his famous exes, for example. Whether his relationships were meant to boost his profile or not, you can't deny that the three of Rivera, Aiko and Grande helped expose him and his music to new audiences. In the past, Kendrick Lamar and Big Sean have taken subliminal shots at each other on their records and the most recent instance of this happening comes in the form of an old demo.
Ever since "Control," Kendrick and Sean have quietly been at odds. They've handled their animosity with a more old school approach though, choosing to duke it out with rhymes instead of tweets. As reported by XXL, an old song snippet has surfaced online, featuring some not-so-subtle shots at Big Sean again. "I think his false confidence got him inspired," raps Kenny. "I can’t make them respect you baby, it’s not my job/You’re finally famous for who you date, not how you rhyme/Cute ass raps, get your puberty up." Of course, Finally Famous is the name of Big Sean's debut album, which is a recurring theme in his music.
Fans are speculating that the snippet contains audio from a different version of "Element." In that case, we'll likely never hear the full context of these bars, which might end up being good news for the Sean Don.
