It's no secret that the New York Knicks have been the laughing stock of the entire NBA this year. At a record of 13-54, the team sits in last place in both the Eastern Conference and the entire league. After a recent game, things got pretty testy when a fan told owner James Dolan to sell the team. The whole exchange was caught on camera and shows Dolan telling the fan that he'll ban him from Madison Square Garden. It was reported that the fan was even detained after the game, which just goes to show how petty the ownership group is.
Comedian D.L. Hughley, who is a big Los Angeles Lakers fan, was asked about the incident by TMZ Sports. Hughley had a pretty hilarious reply to it all stating that if he were the spectator, he'd feel as though Dolan had done him a solid.
"Right now, if you kicked every Knick fan out, you'd be doing them a f*cking favor," Hughley explained. "That's like saying, 'I'm not gonna let you have a bite of this sh*t sandwich. The Knicks are sh*tty and they're doing you a favor!"
The Knicks are looking to secure the first pick in the draft, which will most likely be Zion Williamson of Duke. Perhaps Williamson could be the guy to bring them back to the playoffs for the first time since the 2012-2013 season.
