The iconic "Black Infrared" Air Jordan 6 that Michael Jordan wore during his first NBA title run is reportedly returning to retailers on February 16 as part of Nike's annual All-Star game collection.
According to sneaker source @Zsneakerheadz, the kicks will come in OG form, featuring the familiar black leather upper, infrared detailing, full-length Max Air unit in the sole, visible Air bubble in the heel and "Nike Air" logo on the heel. Additionally, they'll be available for the whole fam with men's sizes retailing for $200.
The beloved 6s have been retro'd multiple times in the past, including as part of the 2010 “Infrared Pack” and then again most recently in 2014, but they have not released in OG form since the 2000 retro. Both the 2010 and 2014 versions did not include the "Nike Air" branding.
Images of the 2019 "Black Infrared" Air Jordan 6 have already leaked in both men's and grade school sizes, so if you forgot what this timeless classic looks like you can get reacquainted with the kicks via the IG post embedded below.
