In 2014, Jordan Brand teamed up with Fragment designer Hiroshi Fujiwara for an incredible collab on the Air Jordan 1. With black overlays, blue heel, and white toe box & side panels, the shoe quickly became one of the most highly coveted Jordan 1 colorways of all-time. It's incredibly hard to get your hands on these and with prices of over $2000 appearing on StockX, it's understandable why. For the last four years, Jordan heads have been anticipating another big collab from the two, although nothing has come to the surface. It appears as though that could change though, as Fujiwara was recently spotted wearing a pair of Fragment Air Jordan 3's.
We can tell that it is indeed a Fragment pair thanks to the fact that the logo which appears on the Jordan 1, also appears on this model. It looks as though it is the exact same colorway as the Jordan 1, but adapted for a different silhouette. The shoe is mostly comprised of white leather, while blue appears on the midsole and back heal. Black accents are also found on the heel, as well as the toe.
The Instagram account @hkkicksgram is claiming these are simply a production sample, although there is no word yet on whether or not these will ever see the light of day.
We can only hope.
