Markelle Fultz has had a rocky start to his career with the Philadelphia 76ers and after suffering a right shoulder injury earlier in the season, rumors started to swirl around the first overall pick. Now though, we have an update on Fultz' condition courtesy of his agent Raymond Brothers, according to ESPN.
Brothers told ESPN that Fultz is starting to regain strength in his right shoulder and they "want to make sure he's 100 percent and healthy when he does come back." His agent also believes the rehab could help improve Fultz' jump shot which has been a weak point of his game so far.
While Fultz is starting to make a recovery, there is no official word yet of when exactly he'll return. Brothers believes he should be able to compete with the team before the regular season is over, but 76ers general manager Elton Brand isn't so sure. Brand is waiting for an update in a few weeks before he can say for sure that we'll see Fultz before the playoffs.

There has been some debate over the extent of Fultz' injury and whether or not it has to do with a mental issue that goes beyond his shoulder. Although as Brothers told ESPN earlier this month "There's no way you're the No. 1 pick in the world and all of a sudden you aren't able to consistently raise your arms to shoot a basketball. Something is physically wrong."
Fultz will be heading back to Los Angeles this week for further rehabilitation on his shoulder.
