The professional boxer could be an interesting addition to the series.

Deontay Wilder is one of the most recognizable names in the boxing world right now. He currently sports a record of 40-0-1, is the WBC World Heavyweight Champion and has 39 knockouts to his name. Not only is he a great boxer, but he's a great talker who knows how to sell a fight. Considering his pedigree, he'd be a great addition to a boxing movie franchise like Creed and the star of that franchise, Michael B. Jordan, agrees.

Jordan, who plays Adonis Johnson in the Creed series, recently told TMZ that having Wilder in the series would be great. Of course, Creed takes on from where the Rocky storylines left off, with Johnson being the son of the famous Apollo Creed who died in the ring. Creed II saw Johnson fighting the son of Ivan Drago who was the man who killed his father. If a Creed III were to happen, it is rumored the plot could see Johnson fighting the son of Clubber Lang, who was played by Mr. T and was a villain in Rocky III, according to Complex.

"It's a cool idea," Jordan told TMZ "[Wilder is] a good character as himself. That's one of the great things about Rocky films and Creed films. We try to bring real boxers into it at some point. So, you never know."

This wouldn't be the first time a real boxer was brought in to play a character in the series. Ivan Drago's son was played by professional boxer Florian Munteanu in Creed II. This means an appearance from Wilder in the next film isn't completely out of the question.
