Freeda was the daughter of boxing legend George Foreman.

This past week, the tragic news was broken that at the age of 42, Freeda Foreman, the daughter of legendary boxer George Foreman, died. Freeda was a boxer herself and only appeared in six fights, having won five of them. George Foreman ended up paying his daughter to retire after her first loss because he didn't want her to be in the ring anymore.

The Harris County Precinct 4 Constable's Office in Texas released some of the details surrounding Freeda's death to TMZ Sports and based on the reports, it appears as though Freeda died from suicide. Freeda's final cause of death will be looked at and investigated by a coroner, although law enforcement that was on the scene believe she died of asphyxiation.

It is sad news as Freeda is survived by a husband, two daughters, three grandchildren, and 11 siblings.

George Foreman posted an emotional message on Twitter as a tribute to his daughter and her desire to want to box:

"Daddy I want to Box,”Get an Education first” I said, well she Brought The bacon home ( degree) 2 Kids 3 Grands (Husband) First Sunday in 42 years without my Freeda. She’s With her maker now. 10 kids forever. Just 1 more day I wanted okay 1 more year aw I more decade"
