21 Savage continues to find himself in a world of trouble. The Atlanta-based rapper was arrested by ICE on Super Bowl Sunday, since being released and allowed to fly back home. While there remains a real chance of him being deported, Savage has noted that this is the only life he knows since he moved to the United States when he was 7-years-old. Earlier today, it was reported that a warrant was out for his arrest pertaining to a felony theft case by deception. The update was unexpected but you all know the saying: "When shit hits the fan..." According to XXL, 21 Savage turned himself in this morning and was booked for felony theft by deception.
Thankfully, he didn't stay at the Sheriff's department for too long, leaving almost immediately after on his own recognizance. He is expected to appear in court in the future to determine how they will go about this most recent charge. It's likely that he will settle outside of court by paying the club promoter their $17K, though.
The warrant dates back to a show that 21 Savage allegedly skipped out on in 2016. When he didn't show up for his performance, he reportedly did not pay back the promoter that had booked him, leading them to go to the cops to file a felony warrant for 21. This is just a minor bump in the road but Savage will likely have this sorted out in no time.
