Leonard is a free agent this offseason.

One of the biggest stories this offseason will be Kawhi Leonard and where he decides to sign. Leonard was traded by the San Antonio Spurs to the Toronto Raptors in the offseason and since then, the Raptors have become a huge favorite to make it out of the East and go to the NBA Finals. While Leonard and the Raptors have been flying, it's well known that Leonard's heart is in Los Angeles and that he'd rather be playing in his home state of California. Last year, the Lakers seemed to be the obvious destination for Kawhi but now it appears as though things have changed and that the Clippers have a much better chance at landing the star.

This news comes courtesy of ESPN's Michael C. Wright who spoke to The Hoop Collective podcast about Leonard and whether or not he thinks the Raptors forward will want to play with LeBron James.

"I do not," Wright said. "That's just what I've been told. It's what I've been told going back to last summer. I don't see that as something that's happening."

Wright is a reporter on the Spurs beat and later explained that it looks like the Clippers are the favorites to land Kawhi.

If the Raptors were to make a run to the NBA Finals and perhaps even win it all, it would make Leonard's decision a lot more interesting.
