One year after Beyonce made her legendary headlining debut at Coachella, her sister Solange was set to take on the stage in Indio in full support of the run that has persisted since A Seat At The Table debuted, leading us to When I Get Home.
However, Coachella has not announced that due to production delays, the younger Knowles sister will not perform as scheduled at the two-weekend festival.
"Due to major production delays, Solange will unfortunately no longer be performing at this year's festival," festival organizers penned in a tweet. "She sends her sincerest apologies, and looks forward to performing at Coachella in the future."
While the past has shown us that "production" issues are often a front for other underlying problems, Solange's excuse may very well hold water considering the elaborate sets that she particularly employed when performing in support of A Seat At The Table.
Coachella is set to kick off on the weekend of April 19-21. Concertgoers still have plenty to look forward to with the likes of Childish Gambino, Tame Impala, Kanye West and more set to take the stage among a roster of at least 100 acts.
Previously, Kanye West pulled out of Coachella due to production issues as well but has since revealed that he will put on a special Easter edition of his Sunday Service series on festival grounds.
