The Los Angeles Lakers had fallen behind the Oklahoma City Thunder by double-digits in the first quarter on Thursday night when Lakers coach Luke Walton turned to veteran forward Michael Beasley off the bench.
Beasley made it to the scorer's table without issue, but hilarity ensued when he removed his warmup gear to find that he was still wearing his black practice shorts.
As seen in the video clip, Beasley sprinted to the locker room to put on his matching shorts and later returned to spell Lonzo Ball with just over three minutes remaining in the first with the Lakers trailing 32-17. Despite the gaffe and the Lakers' early deficit, the young squad rallied late to beat the Thunder in overtime by the final of 138-128.
Beasley finished with five points, two assists and two rebounds in his nine minutes of action, to go along with his Shaqtin' A Fool moment. Check out some of the comments about his wardrobe malfunction in the posts embedded below.
