Few can turn a phrase like the one they call Bronsolino. With a respectable discography beneath his belt, Action Bronson's long-awaited return to music has been anticipated by fans for a minute. Now, with the Queens rapper recently freed up from an unfavorable record deal with Atlantic, the free agent is ready to drop off his White Bronco project on November 1st. With the release mere days away, Bronson has taken to the Hot 97 studios to chop it up with Ebro, Laura, and Rosenberg. Naturally, the entertainer was his usual affable self, with his impressive vernacular and wit in full effect.
Before talking music, Bronson took a moment to address a recent rant against Viceland, the network behind his Fuck That's Delicious series. After Viceland's Twitter compared him to Salt Bae, Bronson went off in an uncharacteristically hostile rant. When asked about it, Bronson cleared the air. "I don't usually go in," says Bronson. "That's not my thing, man. Something irked me. I felt like the energy that went into...It was weirdo, type of comment, they could use that energy in promoting the show on their channel. My show. They could promote the music I just put out being that we worked together for six fuckin' years. It just irked me."
He admits he's ready for "a new chapter," while thanking Viceland for the opportunity they gave him. Luckily, this next chapter happens to include a new project called White Bronco, which features exclusive artwork by Bronson himself.
