The Los Angeles Lakers dropped to 2-5 on the season last night following a 124-120 loss to the Minnesota Timberwolves, in which Jimmy Butler poured in a game-high 32 points, including a dagger three to ice it.

LeBron James, who finished with 29 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists, spoke about patience following the loss but added the team can't keep having the same mistakes over and over. According to Lakers reporter Harrison Faigen, LeBron was asked what he was like as a leader when his patience runs out, given that he's preached patience so much.

“We've got to get better. We know that. We talk about patience but you can’t have reoccurrence of the same thing,” James told reporters. “If you are doing the same things over and over and over and expecting the same result then that’s insanity."

“So we have to get better. We can’t keep having the same mistakes over and over.”

“You probably don’t want to be around when my patience runs out,” James added. “I’m serious.”

Head coach Luke Walton added, "We've got to get better at the little things. One of those things is paying attention to details, following game plans. The game plan tonight: Keep them off the free throw line, and defensive rebounding. They hurt us with both of those."

The Lakers will host the 2-5 Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday night.
