GoldLink dropped off a new single last week titled "Justine's Interlude" that was a smooth banger about Justine Skye and how he wants to protect her. “I’m tired of hearing about if this nigga put hands on ya, Tired of tryna smile through shit that’s affecting us, Then I get to overthinking if I’m here messing up," he sings.
Of course, the song had people wondering if Justine and GoldLink, born D'Anthony Carlos, were a couple but we didn't dig too deep into since the song was just being replayed.
Justine's latest share to Instagram now gives us an answer to her relationship status and it seems as though "Justine's Interlude" was the first move in announcing the couple's dating status. The video below shows GoldLink leaning on Justine with a caption that reads: "My God the realest, that’s how we meet."
Justine's previous single "Build" touched on her past abusive relationships and how she fought her way out of them both mentally and emotionally.
""Continue on your journey to love and positivity,"" Justine said when sharing advice to other survivors of abuse. "Something like this [experience] can make you lose so much trust in any relationship. It is hard to look at [new] people, and not think of the person that hurt you. So, [I'd say to them], "Guard your heart. Stay strong. Don't give up on love. Do not completely cut people out. Be more aware of the signs."
