Tommy Lee suggests that "Astroworld" is a carnival built on lies.

UPDATE: Travis Scott's legal representatives have issued the following statement: "Tommy didn’t invent the concept of a roller coaster on stage and there’s no legal basis for his accusatory outburst. The actual creator and owner of the system has granted Travis all rights to use that equipment to complement his original stage design."

Like Eminem once predicted on "The Real Slim Shady," Tommy just burst in the door. Travis Scott's door, to be precise. The Motley Crue drummer and rock and roll icon took to Instagram to voice his frustrations with Travis Scott's Astroworld Tour, describing some of the set designs as a "straight rip off." Citing the moment where Travis Scott rolls through on a slow-rolling but functional roller coaster, Tommy Lee made his feelings known. Suffice it to say, the man is displeased. Not only does he accuse Travis of ripping off his ideas, but he also calls the Astroworld rapper a "fu*king idiot."

"Just found out this fucking idiot @travisscott or someone on his team ripped off the 360 AND The Crüecifly! WTF!!," writes Tommy Lee, at least having the balls to tag Scott in the callout. "Get an original idea bro." He provides exhibits of the similarities, sharing footage of his own tour whereupon he plays an admittedly badass upside-down drum solo. Fast forward to today, where Travis proceeded to pull the same stunt, minus the drum solo.

Tommy Lee proceeds to continue his onslaught, providing yet another piece of evidence. This time, he sets his sights on Travis' roller-coaster stunt, which is undeniably similar to his own Cruecifly setup. "ANNNNND not one rip off but TWO. DOPE," he writes. "I get copying is a form of flattery, but this is just straight ripping off my shit." It has yet to be seen if the pair can reach common ground, though Lee seemingly held nothing back in his opening salvo. As of now, Travis and his team have yet to respond. What do you think? Did Scott draw inspiration from the Motley Crue star?
