It's been a minute since we've heard from Night Lovell. The Ottawa rapper has amassed a loyal following throughout his young run, largely in part to his droning, shadowy aesthetic, which has yielded bangers like "Still Cold" and "Dark Light." At the onset of December, Lovell teased his upcoming project Goodnight Lovell, promising "a dark story" for the masses, tailored toward the sensibilities of his day one fans. Now, the rapper has taken his rollout to the next level, sharing a possible album cover and release date for the new album.
As of now, fans can look for the project to arrive on January 25th, 2019, a little over a month away. The news bodes well for those worried about an early-year drought, given that 2018 was one of the strongest years in recent memory. In honor of the impending drop, Lovell took to IG to preview a new banger, which features some demonic pitched down vocals and surreal visual imagery. Check that out below, and brace yourselves for a dark tale, colder than the Canadian winters.
