Among the many highly anticipated Air Jordans releasing later this year is an all-new maize Air Jordan 5 inspired by the University of Michigan Wolverines.
The Wolverines' Air Jordan 5s have been rumored since last year, with multiple photoshop renderings surfacing on IG, but today we have our first look at what to expect when the kicks release this Summer.

Rather than a Jumpman logo or "Nike Air" branding on the heel, the special edition sneakers have the familiar Jordan Brand patch that reads, "Quality products inspired by the greatest basketball player ever."
It was previously reported that the Michigan 5s would sport a predominately navy upper accompanied by hits of maize throughout, but it now appears as though the colors will be swapped. We won't know for sure until official images are unveiled, but the leaks certainly seam to support the maize-based colorway.
Typically these types of Air Jordans are exclusive to student-athletes at Michigan, but Jordan Brand will reportedly drop the Michigan 5s on August 12 - likely in limited quantities.
