Tiffany Haddish started the new year on a sour foot when she bombed her New Year's Eve comedy set in Miami after she partied too hard and forgot her lines. "Yes this happened," she wrote after the event. "I wish it was better Miami. I prayed on it and I have a strong feeling this will never happen again."
After receiving support from all kinds of comedy greats, urging her to keep her head up, Page Six reports that Tiffany has taken the first step back in the comedy world since hosting a show at the Comedy Cellar in New York. The publication details how it was a smaller set that took place this past weekend and is a common place for big acts to work on their set.
“The host reminded everyone that they couldn’t [use] phones or they’d be escorted out,” a source told the publication. Tiffany's #SheReady tour still has a handful of dates left on the docket and we can only assume that they'll get better with each stop.
"I get out to Miami, I want to celebrate all this prosperity, this greatness or whatever's been happening and I might have went a little bit overboard," Tiffany said of her Miami set. "I learned that Miami is a really dumb city and I probably shouldn't turn up before work."
