It was only a matter of time before Becky Lynch aka "The Man" addressed the inflammatory remarks made by WWE Raw Women's Champion Ronda Rousey.
As she is one to do, Lynch sent her message through a carefully crafted photoshopped image - this time depicting "Ronnie" as a crazed, umbrella-wielding Britney Spears.
This is just the latest chapter of Lynch and Rousey's ongoing feud, which has included several rounds of back-and-forth on social media.
Rousey, who attacked Lynch earlier this week on Monday Night Raw, had this to say in the latest episode of her vlog series:
"I'm not going out there and doing their fucking act anymore. I'm going out there and doing whatever the hell I want. And they can explain it however they want, but ... fuck em. Everybody. WWE Universe included. I meant that. I'm going to disrespect the sport that they all love so much. 'Ohhhh don't break kayfabe Ronda!' Wrestling is scripted. It's made up. It's not real. None of those bitches can fucking touch me. The end."
Obviously, the "Wrestling is scripted. It's made up. It's not real" line struck a nerve with diehard WWE fans, as well as some professional wrestling veterans. Several WWE superstars took notice of Rousey's comments, including Charlotte Flair, who is scheduled to challenge Rousey for the title at Wrestlemania 35 on April 7.
Check out what some of the other wrestlers had to say regarding Rousey's recent remarks:
